Brief Character History/Description: Born in Machu Pichu, Ardha is neither male nor female (although body wise, Ardha is predominatly male except in one key area which appears female, and has a very androgenous face). As such, Ardha prefers to be refered to as "it" in the place of he/she, despite the fact Ardha doesn't quite comprehend how native english speakers consider it rude.

From a young age, Ardha displayed a talent for communicating with animals, and a strong interest in science/medicine. Naturally, it decided to pressue a career in veterinary medicine and biology when it was old enough to go to uni, at which time it moved to california and attended Cal State under the guise of a male student since it was a little easier for it than trying to pass for female. Eventually after graduating and gaining experiance in a local veterinary hospital, Ardha was scouted out by Hedley who offered it a job as campus verterinarian, explaining the amout of animals and animal shapeshifters that could use it, and the very generous pay that it would recieve.

Personality: Ardha is a very reserved individual who tends pay more attention to its work than socializing. It can be very hostile towards non-animals but is not incapable of being polite and respectful when it has to. Unbeknown to most, Ardha is actually a softy when it comes to cute, fuzzy animals. It shows it's warm-hearted side and this can be embaressing if/when others walk in on it being like that. In terms of Ardha's gender, it will generally try to downplay that it has none purely because most creatures would get confused, but will answer truthfully if asked about it.

Wow, that was a lot.
As you can see... there has been a lot of inspiration from SMT games in terms of Ardha's human design. That symbol just between the two figures is that actual emblem of verterinarians.

Fun Fact: Ardha in hindu means 'half' and nari means 'woman', the full name meaning 'half woman'. This name is based on an androgynous deity named Ardhanariishvara who was half male, half female.
